Ebb and Flow in Relationships with the Spirit World

and a peak at plants coming up in the New Avalon gardens

Thank you to everyone who shared in response to The Lull post either in the comments or via email. From the feedback I received, it sounds like a lot of us have been in that underwater space—thank you Pisces!

I have a sense that the energy is about to shift for many of us (and I may or may not have cosmic insider info via my astrological lens—just sayin’).

Shortly after writing about the lull, I went out to the garden. Not to actually garden or do anything productive but to putz around and exclaim over all the little plant sprouts pushing their way out from the earth.

I had forgotten that we transplanted Solomons Seal into the lower garden last fall to protect it from the voracious appetites of the deer. Seeing it sprout up was sheer delight!

I’m a serious plant flirt. I like to pause at each plant I see to ooh and aah over it. Thankfully, my partner has a sense of humor and thinks I’m cute, otherwise I could see how the start-stop walks with me could be annoying.

Back to garden contemplations . . .

While I was out in the garden I started thinking about the nature of relationships with the spirit world and how, for me, these relationships will often ebb and flow in a natural way, depending on my energy and season of life.

I recorded a mini podcast (15 min) on about my experience with this and how it’s changed over time. I want to normalize the ebb and flow in relationships with the spirit realm. Like everything else, there is a season to being highly creative and chatty Cathy; and there’s a time for being more internal.

I also get into how our attachment style and wounds can play out in our spirited relationships just like in our human relationships. So identifying and resolving these for myself was a hugely important and foundational step in creating empowered sovereignty in my relationships with spirit beings.

This podcast is only for paid subscribers as the subject is a more intimate and vulnerable one since I’m sharing about my own personal rhythm with spirit relationships.

You can become a paid subscriber for as little as $8 a month.

If not, there are plenty of free blogs and past podcasts for you to dig into. I’ve curated a few options below to learn more. And if you’re a paid subscriber, you can just scroll right on past.

Attuning to the Spirit of Land

And lastly, if attuning to the spirit of land is what calls your soul, you can check out this post. The Sacred Sites & Quests of the Soul course is mentioned, which is not currently open, but I hope you find the writing inspiring.
